General Manager (Orthodontic Appliance Lab)

What You'll Do Lead daily operations of the lab, managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality orthodontic appliances. Oversee a team of approximately 12 employees, balancing hands-on involvement with confident, respectful management to maintain productivity and morale. Prioritize and manage expedited and rush orders, swiftly addressing challenges and finding solutions to keep production on track. Serve as the primary contact for minor case issues and general inquiries from doctors, collaborating remotely with leadership and HR as needed. Support ongoing team development by identifying skill gaps and partnering with training resources to help employees grow during their ramp-up period. What You'll Bring A background in orthodontics or dental settings, whether clinical or lab experience, that gives you familiarity with industry language and processes. A natural ability to build rapport and lead confidently without hesitation, especially in a small team where clear boundaries and respect are essential. Strong problem-solving instincts and a proactive mindset, ready to jump in and address issues as they arise in a dynamic, changing environment. Comfort managing production flow and schedules, with the ability to multitask and pivot quickly when priorities shift.
